Having grown up in an entrepreneurial household, I learned from an early age what drives business owners and those who desire to invest in themselves and their future. I witnessed my grandfather's business grow from a single furniture store into a multigenerational company throughout the Southeast. This foundation of strong work ethic, integrity, and most importantly putting God and family first are my cornerstones today. I experienced firsthand that family members & business partners can have different life goals and objectives.  For this reason, our practice dedicates time and focus in listening to every individual, striving to identify a successful approach to their unique situation.

I graduated from Berry College in 1999 and was eager to apply my personal experience and formal education in a family run financial planning firm in Atlanta, GA.  In 2000, I moved back to Columbia, SC to be closer to family & friends and joined a broker dealer in 2001. I remained at the same broker dealer until our recent transition to Apollon in October of 2023.

I am a proud father of an amazing 17-year-old daughter who excels in scholastics, volleyball and tennis. In my spare time, I enjoy USC Football, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. As a result of growing up in the country (Wedgefield, SC), my cousin and I have started a hay and Black Angus cattle farm in Sumter County. Spending time on the tractor and working on the farm brings me great enjoyment.  I am a member of and very involved in my church at First Presbyterian Church of Columbia, SC.

It has been such a pleasure and an opportunity that has far exceeded my expectations for myself and my team to join Apollon in 2023. It truly feels like home to all of us and we look forward to being valued members of such an incredible team and partnership.
